Seven Pounds

Seven Pounds

So I just finished watching the movie Seven Pounds featuring Will Smith. The movie was so different from anything I've watched before. As depressing as the movie gets, it's also very touching to see someone make a difference in a persons life. Giving the chance to live longer, and to be able to view the world are precious gifts.
Although the movie was a little difficult to understand why Ben was doing what he was. The flashbacks explained his emotions, but not his reasons for acting. I don't understand how the characters from the flash backs tie into the characters of his present day life. If I'm correct none of the characters had any relation. Perhaps the guilt was a motive to change someones life, it's still a bit of a blur.
All in all the movie was amazing. The emotions felt so real and makes you think what it must be like to face death, or to not know what's in front of you. To have a person like Ben in this world would be amazing, because he is someone who looks for who you really are and what you can become. The ending was sad, and he faced a tough choice. Live with the woman he loves, or save the woman he loves. Great movie.
